⚠️ None of the computer programs below can touch a real car yet. They are practice versions (simulation) that run on a computer only. Pit Box is the phone app shaped for a real car — its Bluetooth link to a real adapter is still unproven.

BMW Suite — for the 540i
SIMULATION — NOT CONNECTED TO A REAL CAR v0.1.0
A practice version of a BMW dealer-style program (ISTA-shaped). It replays recorded test sessions: car header, module tree, fault memory. Live Values is empty on purpose — the test data has no live-values job. Coding and fault-clearing panes are locked.
Start it on your PC:
python3 run_suite.py replay
python3 run_suite.py enumerate
python3 run_suite.py serve --port 8771
Then open http://127.0.0.1:8771. Needs the BMW ID Kit folder beside it (its harness does the talking).
Open gates: B-7 (the 540i's own BMW program files — the house does not hold them; they must come from a BMW data set you lawfully own) · G-2 (first real-car session).

BMW ID Kit — the identification kit
SIMULATION — NOT CONNECTED TO A REAL CAR v0.1.0
The kit underneath the BMW Suite. It asks a fixed list of read-only questions (variant, engine-computer info, stored faults) and writes the answers into files for Team Garage. It cannot write to a car at all — there is no write function in it, and the tests prove that. Right now it practices on a scripted pretend car, so none of its numbers came from your 540i.
Start it on your PC:
python3 bmw_id_kit.py identify
Needs the .NET 8 runtime. The download includes the pre-built harness; the compiler toolchain folder is not in the zip (it lives in the workspace copy).
Open gates: B-7 · G-2 — same as the BMW Suite.

🚙
Audi Suite — for the SQ5
SIMULATION — NOT CONNECTED TO A REAL CAR v0.1.0
A practice version of an Audi dealer-style program (ODIS-shaped). It runs an autoscan against seven pretend engine computers wired up as a fake car, reads each module's identity, and reads fault memory the dealer way. Its safety gate refuses everything except two read services, before anything is sent. A module that doesn't answer prints UNREAD — never a fake "0 faults."
Start it on your PC:
python3 run_suite.py autoscan
python3 run_suite.py serve
Then open http://127.0.0.1:8770. Sessions land in its exports/ folder as sealed recordings.
Open gates: G-1 (the 2-minute SQ5 software-train read — it settles which Audi branch the head unit is) · G-2 (first real-car session).

📟
SQ5 Dash — the gauge dashboard
SIMULATION — NOT CONNECTED TO A REAL CAR v0.1.0
A read-only gauge dash for the SQ5: boost in the middle, plus RPM, lambda, intake temperature, fuel pressures and more. Channel map graded 23 VERIFIED-REACHABLE · 1 DERIVED (boost) · 3 PLAUSIBLE · 4 NOT-EXPOSED. Honest limit: about 5–20 answers per second shared across all gauges — fine for street and drag review, not a DS1-class logger. Right now it talks to a pretend engine computer built into the tool, so every number is made up, on purpose.
Start it on your PC (after a one-time pip install -r requirements.txt in a Python venv — the zip does not carry the venv):
python run_dash.py
Then open http://127.0.0.1:8765. Sessions save into its exports/ folder.
Open gates: G-1 · G-2 — same as the Audi Suite.

📱
Pit Box — the phone app for any car
UNPROVEN ON REAL ADAPTERS v0.1.0 EXPERIMENTAL
An Android app that turns any OBD-II car into an instrumented car: live vitals, shift light, G-meter, drag timer, brake test, virtual dyno, fault-code reader. It writes nothing to the car except one fault-clear behind two confirmations, with the journal written first. Its Bluetooth link to a real adapter has never been proven on a real drive — that first drive is its completing act.
You need: an Android phone and an ELM327-class Bluetooth OBD-II adapter. Whether you own one is UNKNOWN — buying one is a separate decision. No adapter? The app still works in GPS-only mode (speed, G-meter, drag timer, brake test).
Install: download the APK, check its size and fingerprint below match, then open it on the phone.

Car Click Pack — the cluster display
LIVE — CLUSTER DISPLAY, NOT DIAGNOSTICS v0.6.1
Not a diagnostic tool. This is the clickable instrument-cluster display — the faces you tap through. It reads no car and changes no car. It lives here only so all the car surfaces sit behind one door.
